どえらい冤罪事件で警察が裁判所に非難された判決がでたのが志布志の選挙違反「捏造」事件ですが。
鹿児島出身の友人に言わせると「鹿児島で一番威張っているのが警察官と体育教師。　訳も無く無意味に自尊心が高い」だそうで、なんとなくこの一言で何が事件の背景かわかるような気がします。　
少数で固まって謀議を図り自己満足なロジックで突っ走る。　というのは日本人の欠点のひとつで、勝てるわけも無い大東亜戦争に踏み込んだ原因のひとつでもありますが、鹿児島ではそれが色濃く残っているらしい。そんな文化的背景がこんな時代錯誤な事件を起こしたんでしょうかね。
